The Carter G. Woodson Award is presented to the Blackman or Blackwoman who impacts most significantly on the "Re-Education of the Negro."
Like the other awards, they are only given when we feel someone is deserving to have their work "Validate & Celebrated" for family, Friends and the Black Race.
